Dr. Morgan was called to open Pirate Pediatrics in 2012. Although she has enjoyed missions in South America & Africa, serving children and their families in Eastern North Carolina is her passion. A native of New Bern, she has also lived in Tennessee where she met her husband and remains a Tennessee football fan. When she’s not at work, you will find her spending time with her family, at church, gardening or cooking. Dr. Morgan has a daughter, a son, and a goldendoodle.

Dr. Despres has been serving the people of eastern NC since 2005, after moving here from Massachusetts. She continues to work in both the hospital as well as clinic settings. Her family of 5, including 3 children and her husband, keep her busy in her spare time, mostly with water based activities. When not at work, you will most likely find her at a swim meet, taking pictures of the swimmers, or relaxing at the beach with her family.

Prior to joining Pirate Pediatrics in 2013, Ms. Roseann worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Georgia. She enjoys working with patients and families to develop short and long term treatment plans. Living in Eastern North Carolina, she has discovered a love of the water. She spends her spare time at the beach, boating or at the pool with her husband and two daughters. She supports Alabama and the Pirates during football season.

Ms. Jessie is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Eastern North Carolina native. She started her career as a pediatric nurse after graduating from ECU and becoming a Pirate Nurse. Her goal is to keep children and their families healthy, happy, and safe! She has a passion for breastfeeding, newborn care and kids in general. When not at work you will most likely find her spending time with her husband and daughter doing outdoor activities. She loves cooking, riding bikes, hiking, rollerblading, and beach activities at Topsail Island.

Nathan is an East Tennessee native. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a master’s in business administration from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Nathan is an active member and volunteer at Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include running, Tennessee football, and spending time with his family.
