I’m Dr. Morgan, and I’m incredibly thrilled to welcome you to Pirate Pediatrics. It’s truly wonderful to have you here, and I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and your family.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of talking to countless families, and what I’ve heard from many of them is that they’ve felt a bit frustrated with their healthcare experiences. They’ve shared stories of feeling rushed, like no one was really listening to them, and that they were simply another name on a list. And you know what? That’s just not how it should be!

When I first started my journey as a doctor, I felt the same way. I chose this path because I wanted to make a real difference in the lives of families, to truly get to know them, and to be there for them when they needed it most. I had a vision of providing healthcare in a place where parents could feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way. But, my first job didn’t align with that dream. I was told I wouldn’t even know my patients’ names. That was a tough pill to swallow because I wanted to build lasting relationships with families as their children grew, to know their favorite foods, their dreams for the future, and so much more. But guess what? It didn’t have to be that way!

After some wise advice and heartfelt prayers, I made a choice. I decided to create a unique kind of healthcare designed especially for families like yours. That’s how Pirate Pediatrics came to life!

And here’s the thing—I get it. I’m a parent too, so I completely understand how overwhelming it can be to have a new baby. Taking care of a child is a monumental responsibility, and it can be a real juggling act to balance parenthood and work. Just like you, many parents out there feel overwhelmed.

Life can get incredibly busy, and you’ve already got enough on your plate. Sometimes, health concerns pop up when the doctor’s office is closed, and you shouldn’t have to be a medical expert to care for your child. That’s where Pirate Pediatrics comes in. We understand the challenges, and we’re your partner in parenthood. You can trust us to take care of your child’s health. With our convenient options like early morning walk-in appointments, same-day appointments, and even virtual visits from the comfort of your own home, we’re here to guide you through the ups and downs of parenting. We’ll share all the tips and tricks we’ve picked up along the way to make your journey a little smoother. I’ve experienced plenty of laughter and tears, and I’ve done my fair share of reading and studying too. Having a guide and a trusted partner can make a world of difference on this journey. You’re not alone – we’re right here with you every step of the way. Together, we’ve got this!

And here’s something special we do when your family becomes a part of our family. We create a keepsake with your newborn’s footprint, their name, and their birthdate on it. It’s our way of showing that you’re a cherished member of our family, and yes, we know your name! Many families love looking at these keepsakes and taking pictures with them as their child grows. Those little baby feet are a constant reminder of why I became a doctor and that healthcare can be different.
